Personal Profile

I have a warm and friendly personality with excellent interpersonal skills, able to easily develop a
genuine rapport with young and senior players, especially those aspiring to excellence in sport. I
enjoy working with other people in a teaching or management role. I am tolerant, patient and
understanding. I am skilled at motivating others and generating genuine team spirit in groups of
senior players, whose attention is often competed for by a lot of other distractions.

I played football in the Academy of Excellence in a Premier Division Club, in South America
throughout my youth. More recently I have been engaged in turning my practical knowledge and
skills into a workable system of football managing and coaching. I have participated in several
football managerial and coaching positions in Brazil, Parana. I have attended several conferences
and work shops given by Botafogo FC, Flamenco FC where coaches such  Ribelinnho and Alberto
Carlos, Zagalo, Paulo Autori, Waldemar Oliveira and Zico e Nunes were  the guest speakers and
practical lecturers.
I have attended some conferences sponsor by the FA as well some in Europe.

My system of developing football players emphasizes the value of all-round fitness and specific
training for power, speed and intelligent coordination of balance through the use of ball play based
in simple deployments of movements. I have been responsible for training several winning teams
and individuals who have gone on to achieve distinction in their respective roles.

I am an avid reader of sporting books, biographies and the technical aspects of the game, including
coaching and instruction. I speak fluent English, but my mother tongue is Spanish. I also speak
Portuguese and Italian. I have found this ability useful in communicating with and assisting foreign
players adapting to a new country.  My other interests include surfing, drawing, painting, and an
appreciation of fine art and music of all kinds.

I am in contact with professional football players in Peru, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Ecuador and
Colombia some of whom have played for their national teams. I am developing connections and
channels to be able to bring those players, whom I believe could do well here, to different parts of
Europe, including the United Kingdom.
